Gary Gautney, of Park City, Utah and various other places growing up as an artist. My paintings are inspired by an imagination developed from my early childhood travels, and the beauty of my surroundings. I take the beauty around me; add colour, and my own style to make them unique and appealing. I found I had talent with simple drawings on a scratch pad, and then took an interest in watercolour which is where my main concentration is at the present.
 My work is a style of realism although you can find surrealism in many of my pieces along with hiddens shapes, and contrary meanings. As an artist I use colour, value, energy and light as my main artistic elements when creating my compositions rather than sections or objects. I paint because I love to give and share my talent. When people stop and take time
to look at my work I know I have shared a part of me with them.
